With moments of horror, dark humor, and philosphical transcendence, these tales explore a definition of life beyond the fragile vessel of the human body. An anthology of six stories, "Oddities & Entities" is the recipient of four national book awards from the 2012 Readers Favorite Book of the Year Awards and 2012 USA Book News Best Book Awards. (Goodreads Synopsis)

I found this collection of short stories interesting and enjoyable reads. My favourite was definitely 'Boneview' as that one really captured my imagination. I also liked 'Elmer Phelps'. The others didn't grab me quite so much, but they were still well-crafted stories.

If you are into short paranormal tales with a twist, I can definitely recommend this collection.

I received this book as a free e-book ARC via NetGalley.
