This week's question: What are your favourite books of 2014 so far?

Well, I'm on my fiftieth book at present, halfway through my goal for the year (hooray), and stand out ones to date would be:

The Gospel of Loki by Joanne M. Harris
Burial Rites by Hannah Kent
The Prince of Mist by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Parade's End by Ford Madox Ford

These are mostly not ones released in 2014, many are older, but they are ones I've found for the first time this year.
