The one-year diary of a Resurrectionist in the early 19th century, accompanied by an account of the resurrection-men and a history of the passing of the Anatomy Act.

I read this book as research for my next novel, and it was very interesting. The diary itself, read alone, would not have had much to offer, but the text preceding it, outlining this history of grave-robbing for anatomical study, was useful and would be of interest to anyone looking to find out more about the subject. At the very least, it's a good starting point.
