In the south of France, three best friends in their 40s navigate loss and heartbreak while embarking on steamy affairs with much younger men. (Synopsis)
MILF was neither a great film nor a bad film; it sits somewhere in the middle. It was amusing enough, and a good way to practise some casual French listening. The story attempted to add a little depth, too, to what might otherwise have just been a sexual romp; however, we never got to know the backstories of the characters enough for that to fully work. Still, it had some fun moments and was a fairly relaxing, easy watch that I was able to keep up with while also reading a letter from a pen pal. I would give it 3.5 stars. I wouldn't suggest dropping everything to watch it, but it would be fine if you just want something light that doesn't require too much concentration/attention.
