SF8 revolves around people who dream of a perfect society. It tackles the themes of artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, robots, games, fantasy, horror, superpowers and disasters. (Synopsis)
SF8 has been described as the Korean Black Mirror, and they do both follow the similar format of single-episode sci-fi dystopian stories. Although, I think Black Mirror goes a little darker than SF8 overall. This was an enjoyable series, though, with an interesting mix of stories. For me, favourites included "Blink" and "Joan's Galaxy", but all were worth watching. If you like K-drama and also enjoyed Black Mirror, this will definitely be a series for you. It gets four stars overall from me.
