Communicating via a walkie-talkie that transcends time, a profiler from 2015 and a detective from 1989 join forces to tackle crimes and injustice. (Netflix Synopsis)

Signal was an enjoyable drama that I liked more and more as the episodes progressed. Essentially it's a crime-drama, but one with a fantasy twist, and that aspect worked well. The characters were all compelling, and the series moved along at a good pace. I also liked the way it was shot, which gave a sense of age to the sequences set in the past. The only slight complaint I had was with the ending which, though mostly positive, didn't wrap things up as neatly as I would have liked; it was left more to the viewer to decide what would happen next. But that's a very minor gripe, and I am giving this series 4.5 stars overall.
