Kira’s story is over, but the Death Note’s is not…

In this imaginative and complete collection of
Death Note short stories penned by the series’ creators, discover tales of lives irrevocably changed by the sinister influence of the Death Note, with surprising and thrilling answers to the question of what it truly takes to use the Death Note…or fight it.

As a huge Death Note fan, I naturally had to buy this book. While none of these short pieces have the magic of the original story, they are still entertaining and will be an enjoyable read for fans of the main manga/anime. Some funny four-panel pieces and L vignettes, as well as some interesting, different takes on Death Note owners/users, especially in light of modern surveillance technology compared to the world in which Yagami Light operated. As a note, you probably do need to be familiar with the original manga to appreciate this book, so I don't recommend it if you are only dipping into the world of Death Note for the first time.
