Ordered to take down a villainous business leader who controls the city, a prosecutor gathers a team of men who may not be so clean themselves. (Netflix Synopsis)

I decided to watch Bad Guys: Vile City on the strength of the original Bad Guys series. It is more of a spin-off than a sequel per se. One character crosses over and the events of Bad Guys are briefly mentioned, but essentially it's a separate story. This series wasn't bad, but it lacked the impact of the original for me, which had a more intriguing plot and more memorable characters. It didn't help that my favourite character in this series was killed off halfway through and the story felt a little repetitive at times as each attempt to catch the villains failed. Nearly every second scene was a fight scene, so if that's your kind of thing, that will be a plus point. It was pretty amazing, though, how quickly all the characters kept recovering from their injuries! Overall, I would say this show had some good moments, but I wasn't blown away. I will give it 3.5 stars.
