In a time when dreams seem out of reach, a teen fencer pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man who seeks to rebuild his life. (Synopsis)
Twenty-Five Twenty-One was a mixed series for me. I liked the plot and I enjoyed the fencing scenes (I tried to take it up myself once, but badly injured my knee after just two classes and had to stop -- still only 90% healed 8 years on!). The cast all worked well together, but at about the halfway point I felt my attention wandering a bit. I think overall the series was a touch too long. If it had been done in 12 episodes, it would have been perfect; things such dragged here and there in second half. But if you like quirky rom-com with a sporting background it's definitely worth checking out. I am giving it 4 stars.
