The Atypical Family was not quite what I expected from the premise, but not in a bad way. Although the family possess powers, the focus of the show was less on that and more on their relationships, both within the family and without, and the reasons that had led to them losing their abilities. There was a romance element, too, which came more to the fore as the series progressed. It was nicely paced and held my interest throughout, and the ending was satisfying. I am giving it 4.5 stars.
