Captivating the King was a fun drama, and it was great to return to an historical piece after a long break. The story was particularly entertaining because it took a twist from the way I'd expected it to go. The scenes were all beautifully shot and the actors all gave great performances. The pacing was good and the ending was satisfying. I am giving it 4.5 stars. Not my absolute favourite Korean historical drama, but certainly up there and well worth watching if you like the genre.
