The 8 Show might not be for everyone, but if you loved Squid Game chances are you'll enjoy this too, as it's a similar premise of a game show to win money going horribly wrong. It offered an interesting psychological portrayal of the eight characters, but it was extremely violent, so you need to keep that in mind before deciding to watch. As well as Squid Game the series drew on other extreme tales like Clockwork Orange. I felt there were a few small flaws in the narrative, but for the most part it was well told with good pacing and the eight-episode length felt just right. I am giving it four stars. I wouldn't rewatch, but it was interesting to see once.
