Inspector Koo was an entertaining K-drama that perfectly blended comedy with thriller. There were plenty of amusing moments throughout, but I still connected with the emotion and drama of the story, which contained a number of twists along the way. All the cast performed well, but most notable was Lee Young-ae in the title role, who brought great energy to the character. At 12 episodes, it felt just the right length to tell the story, with good, fast pacing throughout, and I am giving it 4.5 stars. Recommended to thriller fans who also enjoy some comedy.
